Jon Starry

Owner | President

Jon describes himself as happily married, loosely arrogant, yet agreeably humble, and is the owner of Steadfast Roofing.

Although he is originally from Pennsylvania, he’s lived here for years and is proud to call the Southshore home. He is a husband, a dad, and an active member of The Crossing Church and its men’s ministry.

Jon built Steadfast Roofing on integrity, clear communication, and doing the job right the first time.

Eldora Starry

Production Manager

Eldora grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania as the oldest of three siblings, which helped shape her natural instinct to care for others. Throughout her life, she often found herself in roles centered around children and family, raising four of her own while also finding joy in caring for others.

Although her background was not in roofing, it was always rooted in putting people first. That same patience, care, and sense of responsibility now carries into her role at Steadfast Roofing, where she works alongside her husband behind the scenes to help ensure every customer’s home is treated with the same care and attention she would give her own.

And yes, she is very happily married to Jon, so consider this your friendly warning to back off. 🤣

Kim Goodwin

Project Specialist

Inspired by her father’s craftsmanship and growing up with six brothers, Kim Goodwin developed an early appreciation for construction. At Steadfast Roofing, she discovered a passion for helping people, sharing her knowledge, and guiding homeowners toward the best choices for their homes. Steadfast has been especially meaningful to Kim because of its focus on honesty, teamwork, and genuinely caring for homeowners, giving her the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally while doing work she truly enjoys.

Eric VanGalder

Project Specialist

Eric is a husband and father of five, with family at the center of everything he does. With five kids ranging from 12 to 23, life stays busy, and he’s often found at a softball field or hockey rink cheering them on. Eric believes in treating every homeowner with the same honesty, care, and respect he would want someone to show his own family.

Colvin Prosser

Outreach Specialist

Colvin is a hardworking, outgoing person who enjoys staying busy and making the most of every opportunity. He brings enthusiasm to his work and enjoys working out, exploring new places, and discovering great food—whether trying a new restaurant or cooking in his own kitchen. Colvin values personal growth, meaningful experiences, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Franklin Hughes

General Manager

Franklin serves as General Manager at Steadfast Roofing, helping lead the company’s day-to-day operations, production, and overall customer experience. Known for his hands-on approach, Franklin emphasizes quality, communication, and accountability. He works closely with both the Steadfast team and homeowners to help ensure every project is completed properly and with the level of care customers expect.

Outside of work, Franklin enjoys spending time with his dogs, staying involved in the local community, and building lasting relationships throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Patrick Scully, Jr.

Field Compliance Manager

Patrick brings more than 36 years of roofing and construction experience, spanning hands-on installation, field supervision, production management, training, and technical consulting. At Steadfast Roofing, he uses that experience to evaluate jobsite conditions, support crews and supervisors, and help maintain clear communication between homeowners, sales, and production.

Kathy Hughes

Payroll Coordinator

Kathy works in Accounting and Payroll at Steadfast Roofing, where she takes pride in being someone her team can always count on. She believes in treating people the way she would want to be treated and brings that same care and dependability to everything she does.

While Accounting and Payroll may be her official titles, Kathy’s favorite roles are being a mom to three and a grandma to six, with another granddaughter on the way.

Outside of work, Kathy loves spending time with her family, shopping, and caring for animals. She has a huge heart for pets and is always willing to help or rescue an animal in need.
